bstage Grows into a Global Fan Platform with 800+ Stars

bstage, a fandom business solution company, has grown into the industry's largest fandom platform, securing 796 stars. The company announced that it has attracted more than 150 new customers in 2024, opening a total of more than 220 bstages, recording a growth rate of about three times that of its competitors.

bstage aims to expand its fandom business beyond K-POP to various content IPs and brands. Thanks to this strategy, transaction volume in 2024 increased more than threefold compared to the previous year.

Major artists who joined bstage last year include Taeyang, NMB48, and NE-YO. Recently, they have built a global star lineup that transcends genres and borders by recruiting K-POP star G-DRAGON and soccer player Son Heung-min.

bstage's global expansion is also accelerating. Among the total of 796 stars, 678 are Korean, 90 are Japanese, and 28 are from other countries such as the United States and India. In particular, the achievements of Japanese artists are noteworthy, as they were achieved only one year after the establishment of a local corporation.

There has also been remarkable growth in service usage. In 2024, 45 artists and teams launched new membership services, and in the case of the real-time interactive communication service 'POP', 90% of all sales customers were new customers in 2024.

bstage is pursuing a differentiated strategy from existing K-POP-centered fandom platforms. It is presenting a new fandom business model by expanding its services to various fields such as e-sports team T1, musicals, content, and sports.

Seo Woo-seok and Lee Ki-young, CEOs of bstage, said, "As a leading fan tech company, we will continue to expand our global fandom business and strengthen cooperation with various content IPs and brands beyond K-POP." They also added, "We will build an ecosystem where artists and fans can grow together."
